Oh that poor bird… first word that came to mind was miserable (which is how I would feel if that were me)

Dont get deceived by its look, as far as i learned from Nik, the bird can feed even on your bones. its called ‘undertaker bird’

Interesting effect, like Impressionism, Manet or Monet, two of my favorites.

The bird looks miserable- and not just because of the rain, it looks like it is cranky by nature.

Wonderful shot – what a picture of fortitude – bearing the rain with patience.

Hi, I followed you home. That poor stork – reminds me of a galah I posted a while back. Very, very wet.

Thank you – a lovely post.

I like the effect the rain is having on this image, softening the whole thing and giving it a sense of stoic resistance to the forces of nature. Great shot!

Great shot! I’ve never seen a Marabou Stork, much less one wearing raindrops. He does look miserable, but maybe he’s just snoozin’?

Hello there! I know this is kinda off topic however , I’d figured I’d ask. Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest writing a blog article or vice-versa? My site goes over a lot of the same subjects as yours and I feel we could greatly benefit from each other. If you are interested feel free to send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you! Terrific blog by the way!
