I like the effect the rain is having on this image, softening the whole thing and giving it a sense of stoic resistance to the forces of nature. Great shot!
Hello there! I know this is kinda off topic however , I’d figured I’d ask. Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest writing a blog article or vice-versa? My site goes over a lot of the same subjects as yours and I feel we could greatly benefit from each other. If you are interested feel free to send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you! Terrific blog by the way!
Poor guy just looks uncomfortable lol.
Oh the poor thing looks so sad!
Yikes! Margie
Makes me shiver just looking at him.
aw, poor old bird!
but determined, too!
poor guy !
Oh that poor bird… first word that came to mind was miserable (which is how I would feel if that were me)
Dont get deceived by its look, as far as i learned from Nik, the bird can feed even on your bones. its called ‘undertaker bird’
aww poor little guy, thats some heavy rain
He looks like I feel today in another day of wet, soggy, misty, grey weather! Love the pic!
Wow! What an incredible bird!
Interesting effect, like Impressionism, Manet or Monet, two of my favorites.
There have been times I’ve felt like that, great shot..:-)
The bird looks miserable- and not just because of the rain, it looks like it is cranky by nature.
Wonderful shot – what a picture of fortitude – bearing the rain with patience.
Absolutely wonderful 🙂
Somebody’s in for a drowning! Great shot.
I know just how it feels…except in my case it’s snow…great shot.
Your caption certainly reflects the capture! Thanks for stopping by my place and saying hi! I’m putting you in my reader!! Nice to meet you!
Makes me cooled looking at him…………………..
Nice shot!
Hi, I followed you home. That poor stork – reminds me of a galah I posted a while back. Very, very wet.
Thank you – a lovely post.
Poor fellow.
Love the artistic look of the photo. It looks like a painting.
Beautiful …
Oh, that poor dear! He needs an umbrella!
Wonderful photo — thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment on my blog yesterday.
Wishing you a wonderful week. 🙂
Very artistic!
Awesome catch!
Your pictures are so exotic. Lovely.

He could need an umbrella 🙂
Great shot! I’ve never seen a Marabou Stork, much less one wearing raindrops. He does look miserable, but maybe he’s just snoozin’?
It’s a beauty shot, only rarely one notices things like that : )
