Looks like you had lots of fun with this photo adventure!

    I particularly like #3.

It would have been nice to have one with his ‘windows of the soul’ visible 🙂 While the glasses are cool, they reduce the warmth/humanity factor some.

    Great job!

I’m looking forward to seeing more of your portraits 😀

Hunk! Oh my, yes. Oh. My. Yes. Hunk.

I am awed by your skill. The first one…how did you do that…make one tiny part of his face absolutely focused and the rest fuzzy?

Wow! Awesome poses and shooting and very dramatic processing. #1 looks like the back cover of a country album (probably something you have to suffer through a lot less of over there).

I was away working at a summer program for gifted but underprivileged high school students out in a more rural area. It’s about seventeen hours of work a day, and for six weeks (plus a training week before the kids show up) it gets very draining. I managed to shoot a little last summer, but this year it just didn’t happen.

This was where I was “teaching” photography- I did it as a one a week activity for a group of nine students. All I had them do was develop their own film (I scanned it for them), but it was still a much bigger commitment than I thought it would be and it became very stressful. Suffice it to say it’s good to be home for a week or two before things pick back up with school. I’m easing m way back into shooting, and what’s grabbing my imagination right now is weirdo xpro stuff. I’m headed to the beach tomorrow with a couple more rolls of Provia. The results might be interesting.

What’ve you been up to these last two months?

Wasnt the first two pics too filmy? the remaining pics are gud coz it shows the model naturally…the lighting, angle, poses…all r natural and taken well.. but in the first two pics, the background, effects and even the model doesnt luk gud. probably because he has a nicely trimmed beard in the remaining pics and a yucky one in the first two! (i hope he doesnt read this!)
