The third entry for the photo challenges with my buddies. This was more of a gamble.. to check if we are really capable of communicating our intent to our subject in the streets. I’ve read about great photographers doing so…
In this part of the world street photography is not really encouraged(or mostly banned) nor easy to do.
About the Challenge – To take a perfect portrait of a stranger in the street, with blurred out background without any Photoshop aid.
About the photograph – A humble old man who was very excited to see my interest in taking a picture of his!! 😀
excellent shot..:-)

U did it bro…that was PERFECT portrait and you are also so lucky to get him right in front of our house.
This is one outstanding portrait shot I admire. Straight-to-the-face shot on the subject… And also, the selection of subject has remarkable importance in street photography portraits. You did a perfect job!
(I was totally moved by Joshi Daniel’s one such portrait shot: http://joshidaniel.com/2009/11/15/69/ )
A wonderful portrait!!
OOWEEDO! Love portrait shots like this capturing the essence of someone.
